UtahQuestions people ask
When does this page open?
Every Wednesday, Eastern Time. Lines for the weekend move a lot early in the week, so we wait until midweek before putting the full slate up. From Wednesday it shows every NFL and college football game through Monday night, and on Monday it shows that night’s Monday Night Football game.
Why are the kickoff times in Eastern Time here?
Because that is how these games are listed and talked about in the United States. A Saturday night college game at 8pm Eastern would show as Sunday morning in UTC, and that only muddles the schedule.
Why do some games say there is no call yet?
A call is written once there is a price on the game. Lines for smaller college programmes often arrive later in the week, so those cards fill in on their own before kickoff.
Why are these games called on the spread and not the win?
Because that is how American football is actually bet. A moneyline of 1.04 on a big favourite is not a bet anybody places, so these games are called on the spread or the total instead.
