What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1The short version

We collect as little as we can. We do not sell your data to anybody, ever. You can ask us to delete your account and we will.

2What we collect

If you create an account we store the username you choose, your email address, and your password in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into your password.

If you post in the forum we store what you posted and when.

We store the country you pick in the header, so the site can show you bookmakers that are licensed where you are. That is kept in your browser.

Our server keeps normal web logs for a short time, which include the address your request came from. These help us find faults and block abuse.

3What we do not collect

We do not ask for your real name, your address, your date of birth, your card details or any banking information. If a bookmaker asks you for those, you are giving them to the bookmaker, not to us.

4Why we are allowed to hold it

We hold your account details because you asked us to create an account, which is a contract between us. We hold logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site working and safe.

5Who else sees it

Our hosting provider stores the site and its database on our behalf.

When you click through to a bookmaker, that bookmaker may be told that the visit came from us, so that any commission can be tracked. They are not told who you are, because we have not given them anything about you.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data with anyone.

6How long we keep it

Account details stay until you ask us to delete them. Web logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.

7Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will act on it.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.

8Children

This site is not for anyone under eighteen and we do not knowingly hold data about children. If you believe we do, tell us and we will remove it.
