Betting news, in plain words
Every story here is written out again in our own words, for somebody who is about to place a bet. What happened, and what it changes about a price.
Questions people ask
Where does this news come from?
From the public feeds of betting and sport publications. Nothing is copied. Each story is read and then written out again in our own words for somebody who is about to place a bet, which is why the wording here will not match anywhere else.
How often is it updated?
The feeds are read every hour and stories are written a few at a time through the day, up to a daily limit. That limit exists on purpose: a hundred stories a day would be quantity pretending to be a news desk.
Do the stories affect the tips?
Not directly. A call is made from form and prices only. News tells you why a price moved; it does not write the call.
