What our calls are, how they are made, and what they are not.
Last updated 7 September 2026
1We are not telling you what to do
Every call on BettingEdgeHub is an opinion. It is not advice, it is not a tip you are being told to follow, and it is never a promise that anything will happen. Sport does not work that way and neither do we.
You are the one placing the bet, with your own money, and the decision is yours alone. If you would not be comfortable losing the stake, do not place it.
2How a call is made
A language model writes each call. It is given two things and nothing else: the recent results of both sides as recorded on this site, and the prices that our odds feed is showing at that moment. It does not have inside information, it does not know about injuries or team news, and it does not watch the games.
The model is told never to invent a statistic and never to claim something it cannot support from those two inputs. If it is not sure about a fact, it leaves it out.
Every call is published with the reasons against it as well as the reasons for it. That is deliberate. A page that only argues one way is selling something.
3Every call settles itself
When a game finishes, the result comes in through the same feed and the call is marked won or lost automatically. Nobody here can quietly remove a losing call, because nobody marks them by hand.
The strike rate you see on this site is counted from those settled calls at the moment you load the page. There is no stored number that we could improve.
4Past results tell you very little
A run of winning calls does not mean the next one will win. A run of losing calls does not mean the next one will lose. Anyone who tells you otherwise, on this site or any other, is wrong.
Prices also move. The price shown when a call was written may not be the price you can get, and a call that made sense at one price can be poor value at another.
5Check the price yourself
Prices on this site come from a public feed and can be out of date by the time you read them. Always check the price on the bookmaker site before you stake anything.
6Age and law
You must be at least eighteen to bet, and older in some places. Betting is not legal everywhere. It is your responsibility to know the law where you live. We show bookmakers based on the country you select, but selecting a country does not make anything legal for you.
