Zinedine Zidane begins his tenure as France manager this week. He replaces Didier Deschamps after a fourteen year reign. France face Turkiye in their upcoming Nations League opener at Kocaeli Stadium on Friday.

Punters assessing the outright markets will find that a new manager brings uncertainty. Zidane steps into the role with high expectations following a glittering career with Real Madrid. Yet he insists his star players remain the main attraction.

Squad talent and market pressure

France finished fourth at the summer World Cup. Kylian Mbappe broke records during that tournament, while Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele also posted remarkable statistics. Bettors looking at goalscorer markets will note the immense firepower available.

Adrien Rabiot spoke alongside his new manager before the match. The midfielder pointed out that tactical preparation cost them against Spain in the previous tournament. Zidane inherits a squad loaded with individual and collective ability.

Betting implications for Les Bleus

Zidane noted that he only had a few training sessions to implement his ideas. Bookmakers might adjust odds for France depending on how quickly the team adapts to his tactical setup. Punters should watch the starting lineup closely before backing them to win trophies.

What it means for a bet

Zinedine Zidane taking over as France manager makes them an intriguing option in outright markets, though punters should monitor early tactical adjustments.
