Swedish software provider Cubeia has rolled out a major upgrade to its poker platform. The company rebuilt the client using PixiJS, a graphics engine that runs real time visuals through web browsers. This update represents the most significant change to the software since it first went live in 2009. Players can expect a much faster experience with table load times reduced by 20 percent.
New features for players
The entire user interface has been redesigned from scratch. Players will see new card designs, updated player badges, and fresh progress bars on their screens. The developer also reworked the animations for dealing cards and winning pots to make the action flow more naturally. During all in situations, the software now displays the exact number of outs a player has, making critical hands much easier to follow.
Benefits for operators
Operators who use the software can customize every visual element using standard web design tools to match their existing branding. The HTML5 platform works on any mobile or desktop browser without requiring players to download a dedicated application. Cubeia is also offering operators free access to its hybrid poker network, which includes a 25,000 dollar monthly promotional campaign. The wagering requirements for this promotional campaign were not stated in the release.
The company rebuilt the internal timeline management system to coordinate gameplay actions and animations more effectively. This backend change ensures that game actions resolve in a predictable order, creating a smoother flow during hands. Simon Isbäck, the product owner for poker at Cubeia, stated that the rebuild makes the game feel faster and easier to follow while providing a strong base for future updates. The upgraded software became available to operators on the 10th of September.
Poker players will experience faster gameplay and clearer information on their winning chances during crucial hands.
