Polymarket is rolling out new protocols to help clients manage their trading activity and protect their mental health. The platform announced the launch of a central hub where users can learn about trading rules and safety initiatives. This new center covers guidelines for user protection and market integrity across all platforms.
New deposit limits and self exclusion
Traders who feel they are spending too much time or money on event contracts can now use new safety controls. Users can choose to ban themselves from the platform for thirty days, one year, or forever. Customers can also set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on the money they deposit.
Lowering a deposit limit happens immediately to protect the user right away. Raising or removing a limit requires a waiting period before the changes take effect. The platform accepts funding through standard methods like bank transfers, cards, and cryptocurrency.
Focus on mental health and support
Growing concerns about the mental toll of trading on young men led the platform to partner with a major addiction treatment provider. Birches Health will offer clinical assessments and virtual care to patients across all states. The platform is also creating educational guides to help users trade responsibly.
Users will find a short self check questionnaire within the new safety materials. This questionnaire helps traders figure out when they might need to seek outside support. The platform plans to add more resources to the safety center over time.
Using these new safety controls helps you keep your trading budget under strict control.
