OpenBet announced plans to acquire sports betting technology provider OmniLogic for an undisclosed sum. The deal aims to strengthen the company position in regulated lottery markets around the world. Executives expect the transaction to close later this year.
Expanding lottery market reach
OmniLogic brings an experienced team that has worked with regulated lotteries for over ten years. Their platform powers betting operations across retail, online and mobile channels in the EMEA region. The technology handles trading, risk management and back office functions for major operators.
Leadership views on the deal
OpenBet president Nikos Konstakis stated that the acquisition is a natural extension of company strategy. Lotteries remain a core focus for growth, and the new team adds valuable expertise in this sector. OmniLogic co founders Vicente Torrejon and David Mark Gabor also expressed enthusiasm for the merger.
What the merger achieves
The agreement brings the scale and product portfolio of OpenBet to current OmniLogic clients. Meanwhile, the Hungary based team will integrate into the wider business and add technical acumen. Both companies believe the partnership will benefit existing operator relationships globally.
This acquisition means bettors might see better technology and smoother retail or online experiences through lottery operated sportsbooks.
