OpenBet plans to acquire OmniLogic for lottery expansion

OpenBet has agreed to buy sportsbook provider OmniLogic to grow its lottery operations.

Written by the BettingEdgeHub desk, 15 September 2026

OpenBet reached an agreement to acquire sportsbook technology provider OmniLogic in a deal expected to complete later in the year. The transaction needs regulatory approval before it can finish. The wagering requirement for this business agreement was not stated.

Growing lottery market reach

The purchase will expand OpenBet across regulated lottery markets. It brings established operator partnerships and specialist sportsbook expertise into the global business. The OmniLogic team has provided sportsbook technology to major regulated lottery operators for over a decade.

Omnichannel betting technology

The acquired platform powers omnichannel betting operations across retail, online and mobile channels. Its capabilities include trading, risk management and back office functions. OmniLogic staff based in Hungary will join OpenBet to support ongoing development across these channels.

Leadership views on the deal

Nikos Konstakis from OpenBet stated that the acquisition is a natural extension of their strategy. Vicente Torrejon and David Mark Gabor from OmniLogic noted that joining OpenBet provides customers with additional scale while maintaining specialist knowledge.

What it means for a bet

Punt punters might see improved retail and mobile betting platforms as the two companies combine their technology.
