A sixty two year old man from Oakland County recently hit the jackpot on a scratch off ticket. He purchased the winning Ruby 7s ticket at a Speedway gas station located on South Rochester Road. The winner chose to receive his payout as a single lump sum payment of 693,000 dollars.
A lucky suggestion
The player originally intended to buy different tickets before a clerk suggested he try the Ruby 7s game. He decided to follow that advice and scratched the ticket while sitting in his car. His daughter was present to share the moment of shock when they realized the ticket was worth one million dollars.
Future financial plans
The winner intends to use his prize money to purchase a new home and set up college funds for his children. He stated that the money provides him with significant financial freedom for his future. He plans to enjoy his life to the fullest following this stroke of luck.
Game prize status
The Ruby 7s game costs ten dollars to play and originally offered three top prizes of one million dollars. Two of those top prizes are still available for players to win. There were also twenty prizes worth 10,000 dollars at the start, with fifteen of those still remaining in the game.
Always keep in mind that lottery games have a limited number of top prizes that decrease as winners come forward.
