Kalshi and Catalist Sports have revived their live streaming deal with fresh wording that highlights strict compliance rules. The revised announcement arrived three weeks after the initial statement was quickly taken down. Traders on the platform gain access to video feeds alongside official data to build and settle prediction markets.
Video feeds and coverage
The agreement covers up to 65,000 tennis matches each year, including the Australian Open, the Davis Cup, and the World Tennis Tour. Soccer streaming was also part of the original package, covering competitions such as Ligue 1 and Serie A. Fast official data feeds accompany the video so users can trade markets in real time.
State bans on sports contracts
Multiple courts have ruled that state authorities should regulate sports contracts under standard gambling laws. Because of these decisions, bettors residing in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Utah, and Washington cannot place wagers on sports events through Kalshi. If you live in any of those states, you cannot legally trade on these matches on the site.
Regulatory pressure shapes wording
Catalist confirmed that the updated terms clarify that streaming content remains subject to local legal requirements. Arjun Sawai, the head of market operations at Kalshi, also changed his public comments to stress compliance across regulated markets. The changes follow a pattern of recent revisions by the exchange regarding outside brand agreements.
If you live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Utah, or Washington, state bans mean you cannot use Kalshi to bet on these sports markets.
