Barcelona continued a strong run of form by defeating Real Betis by a score of five goals to two. Manager Hansi Flick praised teenage winger lamine yamal after the match. The youngster scored twice and provided one assist during the fixture.
Exceptional form in front of goal
The young forward has now been directly involved in a goal in nine consecutive matches across all competitions. This impressive streak includes nine goals and ten assists. He also became the first player in the top five European leagues to reach ten assists this season.
Flick stated that the teenager is currently the best player in the world. The manager highlighted his incredible first goal and praised his focus and attitude despite his young age. Barcelona have now won their first nine matches of the season in all competitions.
Preparing for upcoming fixtures
The team must quickly turn their attention to a fixture in the Champions League against Paris Saint Germain. Recovery is the main priority for the coaching staff before that match. Fitness doubts remain regarding Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde.
This incredible scoring and assisting streak makes Yamal a much shorter price in individual awards markets.
