Live casino provider Evolution broke a streak of four declining quarters by increasing its net revenues by 3.7 percent to 526.1 million euros in the third quarter of 2026. Live casino games brought in 443.0 million euros, while RNG products generated 83.1 million euros. The company benefited from mobile play, which accounted for 77.0 percent of gross gaming revenue through its platform.
Costs and profits
Net profit dropped 3.6 percent to 243.3 million euros due to 12.1 million euros in one off expenses. This figure included a 5.6 million euro settlement with the UK Gambling Commission and 6.5 million euros in fees related to ending a merger agreement with Galaxy Gaming. Operating expenses also grew because the company hired more personnel to staff new studio tables.
Regional performance
European customer revenues slipped 6.0 percent to 336.3 million euros during the quarter. However, growth in other regions offset this drop. North American revenues rose 11.0 percent, Latin American figures jumped 39.3 percent, and Asian markets grew by 42.5 percent.
The Brazil shutdown
Evolution shut down its Brazilian studio on October fifth following a sudden government ban on fixed odds betting and online casino products. Licensed gambling sites went offline the following day. Chief executive Martin Carlesund noted that the final outcome of the regulatory situation in Brazil remains completely unclear.
Shareholder returns
Earnings per share rose 4.6 percent to 1.31 euros even though total profit fell. This increase happened because Evolution bought back and cancelled its own shares, lowering the average total share count to 186.0 million.
Casino players can expect continued game rollouts as Evolution keeps expanding despite regulatory hurdles in South America.
