Colombia secured a two zero victory against Peru at Inter Miami ground on Tuesday. Samuel Velasquez and Daniel Arcila scored their first senior international goals during the fixture. Punters tracking the team saw encouraging signs from the emerging talent on display.

Dominant performance on pitch

Nestor Lorenzo watched his side accumulate one point five three expected goals from sixteen total shots. Peru failed to register a single shot on target and managed just zero point three six expected goals. Miguel Araujo received a red card for Peru after conceding possession cheaply.

Market implications for punters

The manager rested star forward Luis Diaz and coped without retired former captain James Rodriguez. These absences did not stop the team from controlling the match. Bettors should note how the squad depth performed across recent friendlies.

Looking ahead to Chile

Colombia drew with Mexico and lost to Paraguay in earlier outings before this win. Lorenzo used twenty four of his twenty six squad members across the three fixtures. Further experimentation is planned for upcoming friendlies against Chile next month.

What it means for a bet

Backing Colombia in future friendlies looks safer with this emerging young talent proving their depth in the market.
