Cedar crossing casino sets an early opening date

Peninsula Pacific Entertainment finished construction early on the new Iowa property.

Gamblers in Iowa will soon have a brand new venue to visit. The Cedar Crossing Casino and Entertainment Center in Cedar Rapids is opening on November nineteen, two thousand twenty six. This launch happens just one week before the busy Thanksgiving and Black Friday holidays.

Gaming floor and sportsbook

The developers finished construction ahead of the scheduled New Year Eve opening. Workers are now delivering table games and putting final touches on the interior. Visitors will find around seven hundred slot machines, twenty two live dealer table games, and a retail sportsbook.

Community and charity

Peninsula Pacific Entertainment agreed to give eight percent of annual gross gaming revenue to charity. This amount sits well above the three percent state mandate. The Linn County Gaming Association will receive these funds and distribute them locally.

Food and entertainment

The property includes five bars and restaurants alongside the gaming floor. One dining option is a relaxed steakhouse created in partnership with Zach Johnson. A fifteen hundred seat concert venue is also ready to host big entertainment acts.
