Betsson reached a new financial milestone between July and September 2026. Total revenue increased by ten percent to €326.5 million, marking the highest quarterly revenue in the history of the company. Active customers using the business grew by forty percent to reach 1.9 million people.
Casino and Latin America drive growth
Casino gaming proved to be the main driver behind the financial results. Casino revenue grew by nearly fourteen percent to €253.5 million. Latin America also showed massive expansion, with regional revenue jumping by over fifty percent to €116.1 million.
Profit margins face pressure
Operating profit fell by thirty one percent to €46.1 million compared to the same period in the previous year. Higher betting duties and a drop in business to business licence revenue weighed heavily on the final financial outcome. Net income dropped by forty four percent to €28.2 million.
Sportsbook performance slows down
Sportsbook revenue stayed relatively flat at €71.8 million. The sportsbook margin dropped to 8.1 percent, which was lower than the previous quarter. Chief Executive Pontus Lindwall noted that casino products made up for the lower sports betting margins during the period.
Lower sports betting margins highlight how casino products protect operator revenue during quiet periods.
