Rules and licensingAmericas Cardroom forces table protection on all players
Winning Poker Network now enables ScreenShield by default to stop unauthorized screen capture.

Poker players on Americas Cardroom no longer need to request special table protection. Starting November fourth, the Winning Poker Network turns on the ScreenShield feature automatically for everyone. This tool blocks protected table content from appearing through third party screen sharing tools.
How the new default works
The actual gameplay remains completely normal for users sitting at the tables. Streamers, coaches, and content creators can easily turn the feature off through their settings menu. Network managers are also reviewing whether to ban third party software entirely. That potential policy change aims to protect overall game integrity without hurting honest players.
Investigation results and account closures
The network recently finished reviewing over two million hands following remote access security concerns. Investigators checked play linked to MeshAgent detection and found zero proof of players viewing opponent hole cards. High stakes regular Paul Gregg played about two hundred thousand of those hands. The network cleared Gregg of seeing hole cards during play, though authorities closed his account later for separate reasons.
Sharing safety measures with the industry
Network operators view this protection as a wider industry security matter rather than an exclusive feature. Officials have already shared implementation details with competing online poker sites. Americas Cardroom continues operating under the Winning Poker Network as a trusted choice for online gamblers.
Increased network security helps protect fair play for all poker bettors.
